5.2 Changes

• Blacksmithing
  
  • New raid and PvP blacksmithing recipes have been added, and can be acquired through daily research of Lightning Steel Ingots.
    
  • Seasoned Blacksmiths will be able to find a way to create L Lightning Steel Ingots once their realm has unlocked the Thunderforges on the Isle of Thunder. These ingots will allow blacksmiths to recreate powerful weapons from the past, updated for Mists of Pandaria. These power weapons will be bind-on-equip and making them will take a significant amount of dedication.
    
  • For blacksmiths who have lapsed in their trade (i.e., haven’t practiced blacksmithing since the Burning Crusade), there is a (not necessarily cost efficient) way to catch-up. Blacksmiths at your faction’s shrines in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms will be able to teach you training plans for crafting common household items using Ghost Iron Bar.

BlackSmithing is looking pretty good this time around

• Blacksmiths get socketed gloves and bracers as usual: Socket Gloves, Socket Bracer.
• Blacksmiths can make a new type of belt buckle: Plans: Living Steel Belt Buckle.
• New weapon chain: Living Steel Weapon Chain: Attaches a chain to your weapon, reducing the duration of Disarm effects by 60% and increasing your expertise by 200. Does not stack with other similar effects. Attaching the weapon chain causes the weapon to become soulbound.
• New skeleton key: Ghost Iron Key. Allows opening of locks that require up to 450 lockpicking skill. The skeleton key is consumed in the process.
• New enchanting rod: Plans: Ghost Iron Rod.

• Blacksmiths can craft versions of Folded Ghost Iron. Perhaps this is the equivalent of Folded Obsidium and will show up in new recipes.

• New shield spike: Ghost Iron Shield Spike. Attaches a Pyrium Spike to your shield that sometimes deals 210 to 350 damage when you block with it. Attaching a Pyrium Spike to your shield causes it to become soulbound.

There doesn't seem to be any good place right now. Once the populations dwindle down a little bit things will improve for us ore farmers

If your level 90 and can fly, then go to Valley of the four winds. I am cleaning up there
